    That was great to see!

    I used to have one of those Ideal Toys simulators when I was a kid .... although you may think the youngster in the Steve Canyon helmet looks decidedly "uncool" by today's standards, I can assure you that all discerning young 6 year old girls in my grade 2 class with an eye for selection of a future mate were really digging me as I "suited up" and prepared for another mission launch to protect their freedom!

    All my friends were suffering from envy, Shock and Awe, as you can tell by the introduction to this commercial for the more technologically advanced version of the "Jimmy Jet" simulator.....complete with glass cockpit no less.

    In my teen years, I ditched the helmet as my interests in aviation changed from the single seat fighter world, and I became an advocate of the crew concept.
