400 Hz (cycles) converter
Hello,
I have several Real Aviation instruments (Tacometer, SELSYN, Clock, etc.) All them need AC 400 Hz (cycles) at a few mA. Anybody have a circuit or know of a commercial converter that is not very expensive?
Thanks.

Re: 400 Hz (cycles) converter
The easiest way is to find a 400Hz PSU over ebay. Be aware that not all gauges work on same voltage input...some of them work with 28VDC input, some, 26 AC 400 Hz input and so on. Plus if you want to interface them, keeping the 400Hz solution will be hard and really expensive.

Re: 400 Hz (cycles) converter
I have some 28Vdc to 115Vac 400Hz inverters left. Use a step down transformer to get the voltage you need. Let me know if interested. Cheap!
