Hello All!
Hi All, my name is Jeremy, I'm an air traffic controller at Las Vegas McCarran Airport (KLAS) and have been flying FS since FS5. I have started my 737 NG cockpit build this year and thought I would share how my build is going. Any and all suggestions are welcome as this is the first time that I'm doing something like this.
Here is the link to my build diary: Build Diary

Hi and welcome to MyCockpit. I hope you'll find everything you need to ask here, I'm sure you will, if not, just ask.

Re: Hello All!
Hi Jeremy, welcome to the forum, another NG builder like myself.
On a side note, my neighbours depart Manchester (EGCC) on VS085 at 1215UTC (about an hour from now) bound for KLAS for her 40th! Say Happy Birthday if you see them!

Re: Hello All!
Hi Jeremy and welcome to the forum.
I have just had a look at your cockpit project diary and I am very impressed with your progress so far.
I too have gone down the route of constructing the MIP and glareshield from wood and the gear lever and controls are also hand made. Cost to me was and still is a big issue but I want to have a full scale and working cockpit by the time I have finished. I have already spent thousands on the project and all panels, MCP, EFIS radios etc are all from OpenCockpits.
I am currently working on the overhead.
I am no expert but feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Re: Hello All!
Thanks for the welcome everyone! Unfortunately Sean, I don't get to work until 3 PM local and they are usually at the gate by that time. Gary, I have sent you a PM with some questions already
