    FSWeekend Accomodation

    Hi everyone,

We currently have our flight tickets to Amsterdam Schipol, but nowhere to stay.

So, could anyone reccommend a hotel near the Lelystad museum for the event? I've tried FSWeekends' site, but most of the links are broken.

Furthermore; what's the best way to get from Schipol to the event?

    Cheers,

    Jack

    Hi Jack,

I normally stay in a hotel in Lelystad city. If you google "hotels Lelystad" youll find some hotels still have some rooms left, but you should not wait too long with booking.
I saw Apollo hotel, which is in city center.

To get from Schiphol airport to Lelystad, you can take a train. From Lely stad station there are busses to Lelystad airport, where the event takes place. http://journeyplanner.9292.nl/

    Good luck!

    Hi Jack,

I checked the hotel where I booked and they still have rooms.

Thank you everyone for your kind replies.

I am booked in at the Apollo Hotel at Lelystad, 4-6th November. Excellent!

All I need to do is sort out the travel in Amsterdam now (Bus/Train etc).

    Jack,

if you arrive at Schiphol Airport and you are heading for Lelystad, ending up in Amsterdam is the last thing you want. Then you took the wrong train. From the airport there is a direct service to Lelystad (about 50 minutes). One way will cost you € 10,30.

    See you in Lelystad.
