FS2Phidget.exe won't run after install

Hello,
I sucessfully installed Phidgets21.msi, then unpacked fs2phidget401.zip and ran the setup. When I run FS2Phidget.exe, I get the error message:

Phidget Manager is either not installed or out of date. Download latest Phidget.msi and install.

I believe I have the latest Phidget21.msi. I repeated this step 3 times, also using the Beta version (fs2phidgetBeta.zip)

I was going to try 4.0.0 but it's not available anymore. Can someone help?

OS is Win XPPro, P4, 1gb, etc, etc ,

Phidgets21.msi is relatively new.
Have not downloaded and installed to see if it will work.
Busy adding upgrades to my sim

Maybe software built against 20 is not compatible with 21.
Try Phidgets20.msi

Click on Downloads
They are both there.

Just an FYI

I highly doubt the Phidgets Library v2.1 will work with FS2Phidgets. Phidgets in the past had always upgraded their old library and replaced it online with the upgraded one, thus eliminating the old one. There were many problems with Library v2.0, mainly to do with Java JNI, and these couldn't be done without overhauling and changing many areas in the library, hence the creation of v2.1. They knew that if future customers tried to download v2.1 and connect it to a project that used v2.0 the project would crash, so that is why they decided to leave v2.0 up there. However, this is only temporary. They informed me that they will eventually take v2.0 down.
