LCD for A320 & using 2 different I/O card
Hi,
I have registered few months ago but post this questions now because I am trying to do a research before asking questions.
There are two questions so far before I purchase anything:
1. I want to build FCU for A320, and I see that the display used in FCU sold by FDS, CPFlight and other pre-build FCU are not 7-segment display, it is a LCD and I think it is custom-made. Does any one have any experience building FCU using similar LCD?
2. I saw that I/O card sold by Flight Deck Technology (FDT) is easier for connecting 7-segment. My question is, is it possible to use two I/O cards for building one device? For example , if I want to build COM/NAV panel, and for the 7-segment and encoder I use FDT card, and for the button I use FDS card (FDS SYS card is excellent but doesn't support rotary encoder and 7-segment).
Thank you and sorry if my questions are to basic.

Re: LCD for A320 & using 2 different I/O card
Hi Adni
Regarding point 1.
This lcd it is custom made for sure, probably price for this unit was that high.
Regardsin point 2.
Look here: http://www.a320-project.skalarki.co....category_id=26 and you will find far better solution for I/O card. Only one card includes Inuts, outputs and 7-segment displays. This is abolutelly programming free solution with software compatible for Jeehell, PM, WILCO, partially AST.

Re: LCD for A320 & using 2 different I/O card
Hi Marcin,
You're back from vacation. Actually I have been visiting your website a couple of times and have decided to buy some panels. May I have your email because I still have few questions for you.
Also, do you have documentation about your I/O cards explaining how to connect certain switches, 7-segments, etc. like other I/O cards manufacturers because I cannot find it on your website?
Thanks.
