    Invisible Aircraft

Sometime during almost every flight my aircraft turns invisible; some parts may be visible but the outer skin is usually gone. I would think with the hardware I have now it would have solved this problem. I surely thought the Nvidia 680 would do the trick. Also, sometimes when I try to change aircraft, either from the Free Flight window or in flight it lags for a while, sometimes 2 or 3 minutes.

    Re: Invisible Aircraft

    Hi Jerry,

Which DirectX mode are you using? FSX will work with DX10 preview mode, but it will cause all sorts of issues with aircraft and scenery, so make sure DX10 preview mode is unchecked in the FSX settings; thereby, making FSX use DX9.0c

Otherwise, are your video drivers updated for your video card and are you tweaking FSX or using Nvidia Inspector? If not, update your drivers, and then check any settings within Nvidia Inspector and any tweaks you might've made...

    Re: Invisible Aircraft

I wasn't using DX10 Preview. I did download and run Nvidia Inspector and it apparently helped. I flew from Aspen to FTX Jackson Hole and my frame rates were 26 at KJAC and no aircraft or aircraft parts missing. GSX vehicles were there too but the follow me vehicle was just a shadow on the ground and another invisible vehicle went by with only a head driving it . Those were the only problems I noticed. All the buildings were there and the airport was heavily populated.

    Re: Invisible Aircraft

Forgot to mention I'm also using FSPS FSX BOOSTER which also increased FSX performance considerably.
