LED Strip Back lighting
Hello Everyone,
I am currently at the start of my 737 build and about to start the electronics, and will be using Prosim. As my panels are all mounted, I would like to start the backlighting. I have 12V LED strips. I am a total novice at electronics but from what I can make out is that this needs to be connects to 12V power source. What interface card would be recommend so the Pots can work along prosim? Or is an interface needed at all? Hope this makes sense....
Thanks for your help and what a wonderful community this is!
Cheers

Re: LED Strip Back lighting
There are a lot of cheap dimmers on ebay. Just buy enough to handle total current of
all your backlighting, may need more than one.

Re: LED Strip Back lighting
If you want Prosim to handle your backlighting, get a Bodnar BU0836X and connect your lighting potmeters to the analog imputs.

Re: LED Strip Back lighting
Look for PWM dimmers at Amazon or eBay. They usually come with a 12v power unit. I have two of those built into my lighting panel. No I/O card needed.
