    FSINN with two USB headsets

Any builders managed to get two USB headsets working with FSX/FSINN and VATSIM?

I can get one to working fine with VATSIM ATC (FSX cockpit/environment sounds are through my speakers, via M/Board sound out).

I only need VATSIM voice audio in the second earpiece, and don't particularly need use of the second mic.

Tried initially just plugging in a second USB Sennheiser set. However, no sound from it, even when trying to change the settings in FSFDT Control Panel>Voice>VATSIM. Here I tried to map 'Headset' and 'Speakers' to the different USB Wave headsets. Both headsets do list/appear here, one as
"Wave - Speakers (10-Sennheiser USB headset)" and the other as "Wave - Speakers (11-Sennheiser USB headset)". Both USB sets work fine individually even when swapped, but I could not get simultaneous VATSIM ATC sound in both.

I'm guessing that normally VATSIM voice is fed straight from FSINN to a headset/speaker? Is there any control or involvement from FSX?

I have had a look through the forums here and the FSINN docs, couldn't find anything, apologies if this has been dealt with here before.

Re: FSINN with two USB headsets

    Hello jet-A1

I would believe the easiest is to use Y-splitters but then you'll have to
maybe replace your Headsets and go for a USB-Adapter with 3.5mm mini-jack.
and two headsets with both mini-jacks together with a couple of Y-splitter.

    Look at this post:
    http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/show...t=dual+headset

The topic has been "in the air" many times - so please search here and use google as well.
There are many options from the cheap one above to more costly solutions.
There are software solutions as well like this one: http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.htm -
then I think you can stick with the two USB headset you already have.
Nice shop for related stuff: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/
and Ebay is your friend as well.
