Real 737 simulator experience
Hi guys,
I had the day of my life last week when a friend of mine who's training for Boeing 737 arranged for me to join him on a day's 737 training. So I attended a full day, with 2 hours briefing and 3 hours of simulator training. Very interesting to learn about all kinds of emergency situations, and see (feel!) the sim in action during some extreme flight manouvers. Made me realize even more that pilot training is no piece of cake!
Also learned some interesting things about the motion feeling of a 6doF system.
I have described some of my experiences regarding the simulator on my site:

Roland,
Thanks for sharing. It's always nice to see the inside of real sims, that of which we are trying to achieve. Those that went to the AvSim conference in Denver and got time in those United Sims will most likely never forget that. Again, thanks for sharing.Rodney -
