Mycockpit.org Where do we meet for online flight

Seems like a good idea to meet somewhere (virtual) for a mycockpit flight.
Waht do you think, and what is a good place (server?)

I'm not going to throw anymore cash at my 'ancient' 3 yo box, I think I'll start saving for the next one. There's a drawback I've discovered with my new set up, my outside view is 6'6" wide and I get to see a strip of it about a foot high. I've had to set up another monitor off to the side to navigate the PC, that monitor is 5' from the keyboard in the overhead so it wouldn't be very good for the net anyway. It's a kickarse cockpit view though, it sure works good.

I'll put my hand up for VATSIM. Would be happy to help organise something.

I think anyone could host. This Tuesday I spend 2 h with a friend from Nova Scotia, buzzing around the Grand Canyon!

I guess we just have to agree on a time, place and type of plane, and off we go! I live in Europe, thats some hours ahead of you guys in the US. Anything that is not later than 10PM my time would be fine.

See you in the virtual skies...
    Regards,
    Hans

    VATSIM is good too.

I usually use IVAO because I fly in Europe, but when I was with Delta VA, I flew VATSIM.

We'll have to fly into Innsbruck when Dieter Salz is controlling. He's one of the best controllers in Europe. He has a serious radar setup in his home.

About the equivilent of one of your high-end 7X7 sims on this site.

Best know the STAR's though, he won't put up with amateurs without charts going into LOWI.
