Should Have Built a Sea Plane
This afternoons heavy rain in the UK managed to swamp the gutters and driveway allowing it to get under the garage door and (disaster!!) under the sim floor.
My B737 project is coming on fine with most of the MIP, Pedastal, shell etc in place and functional with really just the overhead still outstanding. However, I spent a couple of hours this afternoon trying to plug the small gap between the garage door and the floor where water was weeping through. this was then pooling on the garage floor where the sim has pride of place. Fortunately everything is mounted off the floor and I don't think there is anything really to worry about, but to say I cursed the British weather was something of an understatement. I have never seen rain so heavy and sustained before.
So a word of warning guys. just how prepared are you for freak downpours. Keep everything off of the floor just in case ....... even that bit of MDF you just bought especially for that little job this weekend!Andy
