assign led with no variable ?
With the led64 ,Is it possible to assign an led to light up when a switch is activated but using no fsoutput ??
For example,, a engine fire light or any other light that fs9 has no fsuipc offset for ?
thanks

Re: assign led with no variable ?
Yes. Create a circuit that has a digital input and a digital output. Assign digital output to an LED64.

Re: assign led with no variable ?
Does the input have to come through a phidget, or can it be assigned to a switch interfaced another way(ie buo836?). I would like to build a test switch for a warning panel, and this sounds interesting.

Googled buo836. This is joystick device based on Microchip's USB 40-pin PIC18F4550.
I plan to add support for HID in future. Been playing around with PICs for my sim.

Re: assign led with no variable ?
yes,, either a switch connected to a buo836x board or just a key press to activate the led ,, without using a fsoutput ?
That would be very handy ,, especially for an instructor station .
