    IC Sockets

Can anyone tell me here if the ICs that come with IOCards are .3" wide or .6" wide? I want to purchase IC sockets for them and I have posted on the opencockpit forum but not gotten an answer. Thanks.

Which IO cards from Opencockpits are you asking about? I have some and can measure them for you.

Also, if you don't mind and if you have a master and display card, can you tell me how many ICs and the number of pins for each card? From the website photos it looks like the following but I'm not sure:

    Master Card = 8 x 16-pin, 1 x 20-pin, 1 x 24 pin

    Display Card = 4 x 16-pin, 2 x 20-pin, 1 x 24-pin, 1 x 28-pin

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

i have the mastercard in front of me
    8x16 pins
    1x20 pins
    1x24 pins
    size : 9mm

    display card :
    4x16 pins
    2x20 pins
    1x24 pins
    1x28 pins

    Hope this helps

PS : this is my opinion but I did not find it worthy to buy the display card in kit format due to the small price difference (more even if you still need to buy the IC sockets for it). For the master card its different and that I also bought in kit. But this is my opinion only.

Both cards use sockets that are .3 inches wide.
