New Boeing 767-300 project... Wisconsin, USA
Hello all,
I have spent the last several years trying to learn what I can about this great hobby. In the process , I had built several prototype panels, programmed some basics SIOC code, and got a homemade MCP up and running. I am now officially making the leap and would like to turn it up a notch.
My plans are to use the Level-D B767 software along with Nico's Lekseencon, & The open cockpits I/O cards.
I snapped a picture after laying down some tape.......Believe me, the tape on the floor got my wifes attention. I have since been interrogated quite aggressively. I decided to come clean about the whole project, and well, she took it quite well. Whew!
This site has been ( and will continue to be ) a great resource for builders!

You picked a great plane to be building a cockpit around. I am also building a cockpit based on the Level D 767. You can see some pictures of my progress over at the "My Cockpit Update" forum.
My wife has also taken an interest (pleasant surprise) ever since we did a few flights together. It also helped that she has a friend (who is a flight attendant for Air Canada and regularly flies on 767's) who took a great interest in my cockpit.
Good luck with your project and I look forward to seeing more pictures.
Regards,
Henry

Great choice Polmer and good to hear you've taken the time to do plenty research (unlike those of us that arrived here with no knowledge and had to ask 10,000 questions! ).
Look forward to seeing your 767 take shape !

Hello,
Here is a brief update on my 767 progress.
As usual, I seem to be taking 3 steps forward, and then two steps backward ( rebuilding something I didnt like, mistakes, etc). The pictures turned out much darker than it appears for real, but oh well.
I have built everything from scratch ( Sintra PVC Board,& Lexan).
The panels are not yet aligned below as I keep taking them on and off to test fit, etc.
The software is Level-D, as I am using a two dual head video cards; 4 independent outputs.
More to come

You look like you're off to a good start.
There is a lot of that two steps forward and one step back business in this hobby. May as well get used to it early on.
Good luck with the rest of your build and post some more photos. We LOVE pictures.Boeing Skunk Works

Here is another update of my B767 project with some better photos.
Still have much more work to do on the MIP, but it's starting to come alive.

Hello All,
its been some time since i've posted progress on my B767-300 so I took the time to snap a few photos after installing the MCP light today.
Anyway, since my last update I have added dual rudder pedals, MCP, Nav1, and a fully functional FMC.
Like many here, I am drooling over Phils fine panels and plan on back filling many of my panels with his.
Sorry for the blurry photos ( I need a tripod to take pictures without a flash)
