Re: Extemely .. OFF topic: MUST SEE, RC Flyer

    Hi,

I own something very similar, called the Yak 54, I also have the Extra 300, by RC-Factory

These aircraft are call 'foamies' which are made from EPP foam and depron.

They use brushless outrunner motors and are ultra lightweight using micro servo's.

Foamies are the way to go, and you can literally hover them in mid air and do the most amazing 3d stunts.

This video is literally the norm for foamies!

The setup as used in this video will set you about £300+ for the complete package (Foamy+ESC+Motor+Battery+RX+TX+Servo's).

I am very knowlegable on this subject so feel free to ask me questions if you are inspired by this!
    GA or the Highway!

Re: Extemely .. OFF topic: MUST SEE, RC Flyer

Wow!, So the motor or prop pitch can be reversed in flight? Kinda makes Dancing with the Stars look tame. I would not like to try to fly one of those outdoors like I did with one of those micro helicopters. A bird swooped on it and took it out.
    Very nice video
    regards,
    Brian
