LED resistor placement
Does the Location of the resistor in a LED circuit matter? Say you have a 5mm LED and it requires a 370 ohm 1/2 watt resistor. Does the resistor need to be placed at the LED's location or could it be placed further away say 2 to 3 feet from the LED at the power source. I am thinking of making a distribution block for the LEDs and locating the resistors there.

Anywhere you see fit.
Personally I like to place the resistor close to the device, but thats just personal preference.
