Parking brake and trim mechanism
Hello,
Two short questions for (real) Airbus pilot.
I'm building my pedestal and parking brake and trim knob.
What kind of mechanism it is in real plane.
I know parking brake goes from 360deg to 90deg, but is it a rotary
or is it encoder or is it something else? How hard do You
have to turn the knob?
How about trim knob - do You turn it to the left and the numbers start
to run or does it act differently?
Thank You!!!!

Ok sorry for the late response havenīt seen this post:
Parking Brake as you say it goes from 360 degrees to 090 degrees basically you Pull it up and it is like spring activated cause it goes fast all the way to the 90 degree position and in the 90 degree position it falls down back again...
Trim Switch for the rudder is basically a 3 position spring controlled switch to center it itself... You basically turn it left or right like 45 degrees I would say and you hear like a click of a switch action and then it turns back to itīs center position...
Hope it helps...
