Freeware: Electronic Flight Bag Boeing Style for FS9, FSX and X-Plane

I'm working currently on a Freeware Stand-Alone Electronic Flight Bag on the Boeing 777 - style for Fs9, FSX and X-plane. The current state can be seen here.

A first Downlod will be available in 8 to 10 days. At the moment I am working on the MovingMap and the TCAS - system.
The program can be used on the network or Single-PC and is optimized for touchscreens operations. It can be used also in the Homecockpit.

    Suggestions and criticisms are welcome.

I'm looking for more details of the original EFB by Boeing. For the 757, I have found a manual for the 777 only some images and YouTube videos. Does anyone have info or links, vieleicht also a manual, training video or something similar?

    Hi,
Looking very good, pity its not for the 737....
A few spelling mistakes, when you chose the airport you spelt unknown as unknow.
You also spelt length, frequencies and preview wrong on some screens.
    Cheers,
    Allan.

    Hi,
It looks really good, even though im not a heavy metal flyer im sure i could put it to good use.
Maybe it could be adapted to be more of a general EFB. Keep up the good work, its really
    has potential.

    "...A few spelling mistakes,..."

    Thank you. Have corrected it.

"...adapted to be more of a general EFB..."

The EFB is planned mainly for my 777 cockpit. Therefore it is based on the original Boeing EFB.

Wow, this looks very nice Peter. Have you thinking to make it work also with ipad? Is it possible to use via keys, if no touchscreen?
    Keep on good work.

Ipad version isn't planned also no-one android.

Without touchscreen the program can be used with the mouse or a touch pad. There will be keyboard and joystick support to be able to use it with external hardware (Bodnar, OC cards and more).

Re: Freeware: Electronic Flight Bag Boeing Style for FS9, FSX and X-Plane

Peter, this looks very promissing. Building a 737 myself and having acquired 2 10.4" TFT screens (800x600) I was planning to use one as an EFB screen (the other one will be lower EICAS).
At what resolutions are you thinking for this program? When you want to use a moving map all the (downloaded) pdf charts will have to be calibrated. Any ideas about that? A must have to find your way on large airports.
BTW, love the piano music (what is it?). Is this an extra option for long flights?

Re: Freeware: Electronic Flight Bag Boeing Style for FS9, FSX and X-Plane

I have made a little web page for the EFB though in German. There is a first download also. A really more useable download can be found on this web page as of next Monday

    http://boefb.webnode.com/

The program is in comparison with the above posted videos already considerably improves. The Relase is planned for the first week in May, I have vacation there.
There also will be a version in the Tablet PC style
