    Shapeoko3

    Greets,

I ordered a Shapeoko3 16x16 cutting area, should come next week.

Anyone have any experience with these, good or bad?

    Re: Shapeoko3

I have the Inventables X-Carve (quite similar to the Shapeko) in the 1000mm X 1000mm table, it's good if you don't try to push it too hard. The smaller table size will make for a stiffer machine, the larger tables suffer from some flex (at least on the X_carve) It's easy to fix if you have the right tools and know how but that's not always the case when people are buying an entry level machine like the X-carve. From what I have seen I would say the Shapeko is better designed than the X carve.
