Can you actually hear it in the cockpit?

Sat in a 330 middle fuselage section -- you can definitely hear it...but how about the A320 in the captains seat?

I know the PTU sounds are included in the free airbus sound pack for Project Airbus, but is this a true representation if you are in the cockpit?
