(Another) Started 777 Simulator Project
HI there all, I very new to the forums, I will be brief and quick
I started Boeing 777 simulator project a while a go, So I decided to do it ( without knowing what program or how is everything hook up)
Guess what I still don't know so I I might as around ( sorry for being a newbies)
My plan was I will built the 2 : simulator
MK1: will be built like replica of the real 777 cockpit but some equipment will come from Boeing 737 (since the part is more easier to find.)
The overhead panel, panestal, CDU will be touch screen based.use with PMDG, just to see thing get going first
MK2: will be truly true scale from 777, but everything in detail take time and money so it's like a long year project
Also I still very unclear about the IO CARD, How do you guys connect with that? Any way appreciated your help and input
Thanks
Kit

Nice work and glad to see you are taking time to plan and build in phases. That really helps... especially using 3D modeling. For IO, I use Arduino cards. There is a bit of a learning curve, but they are very versatile and affordable cards. I also use Phidget IO cards. Pretty simple to hook up but a bit more expensive. There are quite a few other IO options that others can suggest.
Best wishes with your project and you're definitely off to a great start!Robert Prather

Holy, How did you do that?, Looks very good!
I am just wondering did you use a CNC machine for this? I don't want to spend millions of dollars on a cnc machine though
