Scenery looks pretty spectacular but I'm thinking you will need to have the latest hardware to run it?

    I'm already impressed with the flight-model in X-Plane, http://x-plane.com/pg_Inside_X-Plane.html
With version 10 comes a new ATC system

I have never even looked at X-plane.
Am I missing out on something?

    Re: picts of XPlane 10b

I want to love xplane but everytime I play with the demo I always revert back to MSFS.

I find the whole xplane GUI very complex and it appears that the learning curve is much greater than MFS9 / FSX.

I prefer the xplane graphics to MSFS and I also prefer the handling of the xplane C172 aircraft (although VERY sensitive).

Its just not that easy to get to grips with for me.

Id love to say that my sim is an X-plane sim and I very much want that, but there's something holding me back and Im not too sure what exactly.
