Image distortion
Hi,
Another simple question with projectors whether in use with a mirror or not. Is there much image distortion from having the image "angled" down as the projector has to be above the pilots head height to prevent shadows??
Thanks

movable lens
Many projectors have a lens mechanism, that can shift the lens projection several degrees up/down and left/right. In my setting (Epson EMP projector) this works fine and there is no distortion.

Mounty,
Look for a projector witrh a good "keystoning" feature. That allows you to correct the distortion that happens from the projector being a bit "off axis" from the screen face.
Be aware that most projectors already take this idea into account.... with a usula "upward" bias to the screen image they project by default. They do not project the image "centered" on the axis of the main lens,........ but skewed a bit upward.
best,
