Cowl Flaps
I have 4 switches available on my pit to use as cowl flaps. Only problem is I dont know which offset to set them to. If I use offset 37F0, the only offset i can find involving cowl flaps. I cant open or close them using thi offset, any ideas as to the correct offset to be able to work the cowl flaps??
Thanx in advance..I'm not replicating anything, because I like to fly everything.

Re: Cowl Flaps
Hello,
Please let us know how have you tried to set the offset ?
And what hardware you have.
The offset is a double floating point integer, so at least in Opencockpit world SIOC should be easy way to handle this.
You set the offset to 0,0 for close the cowl flaps and 1,0 to set it fully open.
A more realistic way would be to add a pot and set the pot's geometry to give this full scale 0,0-1,0 to set the cowl stepless with the pot.
hmm... confusing enough

I am using FS2Phidgets on a dual way momemtary toggle. the only offset i can find is for the cowl flap position indicator, dont remember the exact ofset off hand.
