VATSIM vPilot on client PC
Hi,
just wanted to inform that vPilot still shows considerable stuttering in the Multiplayer planes when offloaded to a client server and connected via SimConnect at least on P3D.
voice goes through fine though.Cheers Stephen

Re: VATSIM vPilot on client PC
For FSX that is no longer the case if you are using the latest version. Install vPilot as well at the FSX PC as at your other PC. At the FSX PC you do not start vPilot but a small program called TrafficProxy and at the other PC you run vPilot (as normal). TrafficProxy takes care of very smooth movement of the planes. It's a great sight, a lot better then with SB4 running networked for instance.
The TrafficProxy can also help you with your PTT definition. Just type CTRL_S when the Traffic Proxy is running and you see the Traffic Proxy window.
Note that Ross still has to update his documentaton, but this TrafficProxy has been out of beta phase and is part of the latest release.

Re: VATSIM vPilot on client PC
Yes, it's part of vPilot (and vPilot has new version detection).
You'll find a TrafficProxy entry in the vPilot Program group, or you can start TrafficProxy.exe from the [User]/AppData/Local/VPilot folder
