Airports/airstrips not in FSX
I am not a big aircraft simmer, I am happiest in the Aerosoft Twin Otter or Flight One BN-2 Islander. (The first is the intended subject of my simpit.) As such I tend to like to fly off piste so to speak. The only problem with this is that whilst FSX seems to represent every backyard grass strip in the USA, go anywhere else and they are sadly lacking.
I have found that website such as Simviation.com is a great source for fill-in airports, but I have also developed a lot of airports/airstrips myself by scanning google or bing maps in the areas in which I am interested. I would be willing to write a tutorial for this forum on how to do this if people are interested.
Please post if you would like me to do this.
