Hi All, new to this forum
Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum so just thought I would say Hi.
Some of you might know or have have heard of me. I don't know of anyone else in the world who has done a Beechcraft Queenair sim.
Anyway, I now have an F27 project just starting and the Queenair has gone to another sim builder.
I've had a go at the big stuff, with one of Peter Cos' early 737ng panels and a great deal of timber and sheet aluminium as well as a classic 727 project. Neither of which really fired my rockets for various reasons.Mostly lack of a real cockpit.
The Queenair happened along and I took the opportunity to have a real cockpit. Now the F27 has happened along, and I just couldn't help myself.
It's probably the ideal setup,or will be, for me, since I like the old analogue instruments and don't really have aspirations to sit in my pit for hours on end watching the a/p. Don't take offence all you Boeing and bus drivers.I do appreciate flat panel displays, much easier than steam guages, and in an ideal world I would probably have a mix of both. Who knows? like many simmers, i'm always developing and thinking for now and tomorrow.
Have a look at http://simflight.fotopic.net
All the best, Dean

Hi Dean and welcome! Web site looks good as well as the sims you have pictured there. It is good to see more guys jump in here that are not heavy irion drivers! I still like to fire up a GA aircraft now and again! I look forward to following your "New" project!

It's great to see the Fokker 27 come alive. There is a project here in the Netherlands where a F27 is still in flying condition and the crew are regular Glass Cockpit drivers who love to fly the classic stuff. Great having you around here and hope to hear more experiences.

Thanks all for your welcomes.
BTW Matt, I did my PPL qualifying cross country from Winterhaven to Ocala back in 2000, small world.
Merry Christmas all sim lunatics,
Dean
