    Rocker switches/LED wiring

    Hi,
I have 2 rocker switches, each with 6 terminals on the back. I want to use them as generator on/off switches, connected through a BU0836 card and FSUIPC. I also have 2 LED's connected to each, to indicate run or off. I have attempted to utilise the 5v supply from an ATX PSU. for the LED power supply. I think that I have damaged the card somehow, by incorrectly wiring the switches, so that the 5v was put throught the card by mistake. There are only 2 buttons permanently lit, and the rest seem okay, however, thats my problem, and I can live with it.
My question is, can someone please advise me on the correct way to wire it all up, so that I dont do anymore damage.
    Cheers,

    Neil

    Re: Rocker switches/LED wiring

    Hi Neil

Firstly, mount the power supply and LEDs without your the bu card connected.
Then you'll try if you can get the LEDs to change to light when the switch is rocked.
If this works you can then mount your bu card.

80% of all contacts are made with the common pin in the middle.
    Sincerely,

    Claus

    Hi Claus,
Thanks for reply, and your clear and understandable drawing. Did as you suggested, and everything works well.
