    New products on Aviodrome Show

    I just returned from the first day of the Aviodrome show.

    A big thank you to the organisation who put together another perfect show again !

    A big thank you also to all our visitors and customers who came to pay us a visit from all over the world. We had customers coming over from India, Russia, Turkey, Scandinavia, Spain, Germany, the UK and many other countries. Many thanks for dropping by and saying hi. I am amazed every time when i see how close the FS community is. Great to be part of it.

    FlyEngravity joined up with CPflight and Xesa Motion Systems to offer complete turn key solutions: Motion platforms, plug and play hardware and highly detailed panels.

    Now on to the first picture. I will give you all a sneak preview of new products to be released on short term.

    Engravity is proud to announce a new co-production with CPflight. We teamed up to develop some new items together.

    First a new full scale MCP. We developed a full scale new style mcp with some features not seen before.
    First take a look at the pictures below (you can click on the pictures to enlarge them:

    Some of the key features:
    * solenoid autothrottle disconnect switch. Yes you read it right. The switch flips back when the autothrottle disconnects !
    You can see it in action here: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iX_Nlc8TVJ0"]YouTube - Solenoid Autothrottle disconnect switch[/ame]
    * New style MCP, full scale
    * Molded push buttons with highly detailed legends.
    * Backlit legends with illuminated flags.
    * Aluminium powder coated custom made knobs.
    * Functional Dual concentric rotary for the bank angle/heading
    * Black window inserts around all display windows.
    * white digits like the newer models.

    Another Co-development we made with our friends from CPflight is not a Boeing item: we expanded our range to the airbus:
    We are proud to announce our joint effort with CPflight to develop a A320 FCU/EFIS.
    Pictures below:

    Key features:
    * full scale
    * Custom made LCD display for the FCU, displaying all annunciation modes.
    * Dual concentrics where needed
    * Push/pull rotaries where needed
    * Injection molded push buttons with highly detailed legends.
    * Backlit pushbuttons with illuminated flags
    * Aluminium powdercoated custom made knobs
    * locking toggle switches.

    Both the FCU and MCP come in enclosed metal casings and are fully plug and play through USB. No assembly needed whatsoever.

    Next our new pedestal box with pedestal pro panels.
    The panels match the CPflight radio and will be available in a pedestal configurator in the webshop shortly.
    Key features:
    * Fully aluminium
    * Curved underside
    * all welded
    * cut-outs for circuit breakers and audio connectors.
    * Fitted with aluminium inserts with the correct spacing to fit real panels, cp flight radios or any other panels that are conform aviation standard fasteners.
    * The radio inserts can easily be lifted out to make adjustments to the radios or cables.

    picture:

    Another item we worked on hard:
    737 style firehandles
    Key features:
    * Heavy duty, full aluminium machined construction.
    * Override buttons for locked levers.
    * PCB based annunciation
    * Operation identical to real ones.
    * Top cap flips open to allow acces to pcb.
    * Unlock, pull and turn action.

    pictures:

    There are many other products in the pipe line, amongst others, a backlit Performance Line Pro overhead. More news to follow soon.

    All the above mentioned products enter production fase now and will be available shortly (over the next few months)

    More pictures and more information will follow shortly in our read only section of the forum.

    Any questions/comments welcome.

    Robert, I'm absolutely amazed. Beautiful pieces of equipment, couldn't ask for anything better.

    When is the price list going to be available, particulary for the FCU?

    Hi all,

    saw the airbus FCU in real life yesterday. Wow...its amazing in its detail.
    If you can afford it... it for sure worth every penny..
    the lcd is great. the buttons are of very high quality with nice backlight and
    the green indicator is not lighted by the backlight. The dual rotarys (like the 100/1000
    selection and on the pressure) are there. The only thing I did not like that much was the
    feeling on the push/pull, very little travel (dont know either how this is in the real cockpit)
    Overall... WOW
