TextLCD digital outputs question
On the TextLCD.... I am ataching some LEDs to the outputs. Reading the docs on the NEW card I JUST got says that there is an internal 300 Ohm resistor on the outputs. BUT I seem to remember something about this NOT being case a long while ago.
I have an OLD TextLCD (maybe 1 to 2 years old) that I want to use also.
Was this ALWAYS the case?
I hope so... cause it makes things easier on the wiring department for the FDS "standard" (read cheap) annunciators.

Well... did a test and answered my own question. You can drive the LEDs directly from the outputs without adding any resistors.
