Hurro
Hello everyone, my name is Laurence, and I live in Northam - about 100km from Perth in the land of OZ - formally a former resident of ChCh NZ, and now starting to work on a 737- most likely 600 series (don't need that big a private jet)
I've got the PM range of software that I've had for a few years. Whilst in NZ I was spoilt by seeing the awesome job the Flight Experience crew at work - well they don't call it work. Back then they were building the 767 - and when I returned to NZ just recently got to see their 737 - made me cry - I wish I could do something that good.
I'm not looking top of the range - more likely everything will be made from mdf - I would buy them if I could find them cheap enough - but I find that a lot of panels are higher than I need.
I've been building around the classic FSBus - as I had the stuff in NZ to do my own etchings etc - but may switch to opencockpit software.
My biggest problem at this stage is tools - the only thing I have here is an electric drill - so yeah, buying panels rather than creating them (did a crappy job even with tools in NZ) would be better for me.
But anyways - that's where I'm at, thought I would pop in and say hi

Welcome to another WA resident Gaspode (?) I'm fairly new to this site also.
I'm in Perth building a PC12 sim so I have no choice but to make panels. This and other forums are full of 737 builders so there's plenty of help available.
Good luck and look forward to sharing the experience.
Ken.

Welcome
Welcome aboard Laurence, look forward to see your progress here
You mentioned tools.... I know the feeling... seems I've invested quite a bit into tools to build my project, AND, learning new skills that came with the new tools
Good luck on your project, again, I look forward toward seeing your progress and input

Welcome from a Yankee. Well, actually I am not a Yankee (dems were fighting words when I was a kid) unless you are from down where the world turns the wrong way.
So, welcome anyway.John
