Computer monitor or T.v. monitor as external view ?
I am making a new Home cockpit and i am wondering which do you think will be better A computer monitor or my t.v.
I am thinking about getting 3 computer screens or 3 . 32inch t.v's
I want to get computer screen because of all my friends have them and there cheaper
But i also want to get 3 t.v's to have as the external view because it would be bigger but the gap between the screens would be HUGE as the frame around a tv is big
By the way i have a Plasma screen tv

Re: Computer monitor or T.v. monitor as external view ?
Hi
PC monitors are sharper images than tvs.
TVs are cheaper once you pass 27 inch but maximum TV resolution is 1280x1080 pixels which is full HD or 1080p.
You can remove the plastic frames from around PC monitors or TV screens. Beware plasma TVs have their backlighting installed at the edges of the screen so there will always be an area around the screen you can't use. If you have a large wallet check out OLED screens only 10mm around the frame, or search "frameless monitors" on the interweb I use 2x 50 inch tvs for the 2 front windows of my 767 and monitors without frames behind my MIP
regards
