Backlighting on MIP... white, warm white or amber?
Can someone tell me what is the color of the backlighting on the MIP? Not the flood or background light. I'm talking about the color used to light up the legends on the MIP.
From photos on Airliners.net, it seems like it's an amber color. On others it looks like a warm white, but I have a friend who is a mechanic for Avianca and LAN, and he tells me the backlighting on the B737NG is white, more like a warm white sort to speak.
I do believe my friend, but these amber looking pictures on airliners.net, have me thinking twice.

Ok, so I guess these leds would provide excellent light and correct tint?
